BOZENA 4 mine clearance flail machine (B4 MCFM) is wheeled & tracked mechanical
demining tool remotely controlled within a radio-transmittal range of 2 000 m.
B4 MCFM is designed for liquidation of all conventional Anti-Personnel mines both
the pressure and tripwire fused, and for destruction of Anti-Tank mines up to 9 kg
TNT charge or equivalent. The system is suitable for proving areas and routes as
well as for clearance between buildings, along paths, plantations, around permanent
obstacles and where the ground cannot carry heavy weights. B4 MCFM is usually remotely
steered by operator from supplied protected and air-conditioned cabin within the
line-of-sight visibility. But it can comfortably be controlled also from suitable
mine-protected vehicles or from engineering armored personnel vehicles when such capabilities exist.
B4 MCFM is protected against effects of mine/UXO detonations by the ARMOX-steel
shield situated in front of the prime mover, directly behind the flail shaft.
In addition, the prime mover cover is made of 4-6mm ARMOX-steel plates and protection
of the most vulnerable parts such as RC receiver and camera transmitter is reinforced
with LEXAN glass panes.
B4 MCFM is the fourth and the most advanced model of BOZENA mineclearance mini-flail
machines as a result of continuous and sedulous development carried out in Slovakia since early 90-ies.
Using the proven and world-known technologies of DEUTZ engine, BOSCH-REXROTH hydraulic system,
etc., the worldwide service support is sufficiently secured and provided in-time without undue delays.
In order to secure the best possible exploitation of B4 MCFM during preparation and execution of
demining operations, the BOZENA 4 mineclearance system contains additional (optional) equipment:
I.Monitoring cabin for operators
II.SPP6 transport trailer
III.Special and commercial attachments (working tools).
WAY INDUSTRY offers to customers tailored training packages for both the basic and advanced
training of their personnel. The basic training for B4 operators and mechanics can be executed
in WAY INDUSTRY’s training facilities in Slovakia or in a country of B4 deployment. The
on-the-job training executed by manufacturer’s skilled instructors during the selected time
period in real demining operations is the most recommended form of the advanced training.
