Detonation of AP mine

Detonation of AT mine
The tests have proved B4 capabilities to effectively detonate or destroy all types of AP and AT mines up to 9 kg TNT charged in various types of the soil and terrain conditions.

Except of mine clearing, B4 proved to be useful tool in the category of mined area preparation especially in cutting vegetation with trunks up to 19 cm diameter.
Experiences from the B4 tests and from day-to-day operation shoved that depending on type of mine detonated maximum damage of 5 hammers and 5 chains broken on the flail unit (working tool) has been recorded and whole system remained fully operational.
Both flail elements are part of the basic set of equipment for the flail and part of manufacturer’s recommended set of spare parts for respective period of operation. The tools needed for repair are also part of the basic set of equipment for the flail.
Replacement of one hammer and chain takes about 2 minutes and can be done on site.
